Anele Tembe’s Father Banned From Attending AKA’s Funeral
Tensions seem to be rising between AKA’s and Anele Tembe’s family following their tragic deaths.
AKA was buried yesterday on the 18th of February in a private ceremony at Heroes Acres in Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg. His family, close friends and associates were in attendance.
However, it has emerged that AKA’s family barred his deceased fiancée’s father Moses Tembe from attending his funeral.
According to the Sunday World, Anele Tembe’s father requested to attend AKA’s funeral to pay his last respects but his family reportedly blue-ticked him.
The source claims that AKA’s family told him that they were busy.
“They simply told him that they were busy,” said the source.
The source also spilled the tea on how AKA’s family reacted after it emerged that the Tembe family was accusing the late rapper of killing their daughter Anele in leaked court documents.
According to the source, AKA’s family was aggrieved by the Tembe’s accusations and decision to challenge NPA’s decision not to charge AKA with Anele Tembe’s murder at a time when they are still mourning his death.
“They believe the timing of the statements were not good as they were still mourning the untimely death of their beloved one,” said the source.
The family drama between the Forbes and the Tembes seems to be far from over as the Tembe family reportedly believes AKA is responsible for Anele’s death and are doing everything in their power to ensure “justice” is mete.
On the other hand, Anele’s father is being accused of ordering the hit on AKA as revenge for his daughter’s tragic death.
