Family members, Supporters and industry colleagues paid tribute toba well known South African musician Mampintsha at a memorial service on Thursday, 29th December 2022.
Family members and colleagues were granted time to share their memory lane with Mampintsha and Dr Tira was one of the people whom also addressed the gathered mass.
DJ Tira on the podium said that he has asked uKhozi FM to donate all the votes for his top 10 nominated song ‘Sikilidi’ in the Song of the Year category, to Big Nuz’s ‘Ngeke Ngivume’ in honour of Mampintsha.
This then simple mean that UKhozi FM is in the mission of making Mampintsha’s song to be song of the year as we are about to cross over to another year.
Dj Tira also said that, “Our sister Babes Wodumo needs to get back to her throne. She needs to get back to charging 100k per gig”.
DJTira also stated that he will always assist Mampintsha’s son ‘Sponge’ as needed.
