Babes Wodumo melted people’s hearts after a video of her dancing at her late husband’s, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, funeral was posted on social media.
Babes Wodumo was in a jovial mood when Big Nuz’s smash hit Ngeke, played at the late gqom star’s memorial service. Mampintsha’s memorial service was held at Bishop Vusi Dube’s eThekwini Community Church in the Durban CBD on Thursday, 29 December 2022.
A young woman took to Tik Tok to share a video of herself imitating a grieving Babes Wodumo. A lot of people felt that it was too soon for her to be mocking her because she has recently lost her husband and became a single mother.
Many believed that the video was made in bad taste. Using someone else’s pain of mourning as content creation is extremely disrespectful and distasteful. The fact that she even made fun of their child angered people the most.
