The year 2023 has started in a devious way, more special to those families who have lost their loved ones. Here we have a list of mzansi celebrities who died in 2023.
1. Vusi Ma5 rand


 

Vusi Ma R5 was a South African musician from Pretoria. Vusi died on 30 January in Soshanguve outside Legentsheng. Vusi was gunned down by unknown suspects.
2. AKA

Keirnan Forbes who is popular known by his stage name AKA lost his life after he was gunned down in Wish Restaurant in Durban. AKA was a South African popular rapper who have been in the entertainment industry many years. AKA died on 10th of February. He was known to be in a relationship with Nadia Nakai.

3. Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane

Tebello Motsoane who is popular known by his stage name Tibz died together with his best friend AKA on 10th of February. Tibz was gunned where he was with AKA at Wish Restaurant in Durban whereby AKA was supposed to perform. It was reported that Tebello was a chef and also was AKA’s Manager.
4. Chef Lentswe Bhengu-Mafoko

Chef Lentswe Bhengu’s death came after the death of Tebello Tibz who was gunned down together with the rapper AKA. Chef Lentswe Bhengu left the entertainment industry in tears. He was another celebrity who have been featured in the shows in television.
5. Costa Titch

The sudden death of Casta Titch has left many people in shock. People still cannot believe that the young star is gone just like that. It was reported that the young South Africa star Casta Titch collapsed while he was on stage preforming. The rapper’s death was announced on 11 March 2023. It is said that the rapper was performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg, when he collapsed. His death was announced by his family in social media.
