The Limpopo Health MEC, Mrs Phophi Ramathuba has continued to improve the services of health facilities around Limpopo to meet the growing health concerns of individuals visiting different health facilities in the area.
The effort of Dr Phophi Ramathuba in making sure that different hospitals around Limpopo are well equipped has led to successful treatment of complicated health issues as well as reduction in mortality rates.
Though she’s been accused in the past of being sentimental in admitting people in hospitals within her jurisdiction. This is coming after she allegedly denied a Zimbabwean lady access to healthcare because she was in the country illegally.
In a recent development, Dr Phophi Ramathuba has expressed happiness after a 22 year old Zimbabwean lady delivered triplets at Jane Furse District Hospital. The mother of the baby actually delivered her babies just 4 hours apart.
The lady delivered two boys and a baby girl.
In another separate incident she Dr Phophi Ramathuba announced that a lady also delivered twin boys in the same hospital and both mothers and their children are reportedly healthy and sound.
Dr Phophi Ramathuba reiterated her commitment in making sure that people visiting Limpopo for health purposes will be well taken care of.
