HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CEDRIC FOURIE JUNIOR …LEHASA’S SON IN REAL LIFE

His real name is Cedric Fourie he was born on 17th March 1990. He comes from Soweto where he was born and raised together with a couple of sisters by their single mother.


 

Legasa Maphosa( Cedric Fourie) caused a stir on social media after he was photographed with his date, openly gay vlogger Lasizwe. The two seemed positively loved up; holding hands, arm in arm and lighting up the red carpet.

They were with each other in such a way that people can tell that both are in a relationship but when asked what’s going on, Fourie replied with a laugh, ” We’re stirring things up.” The SA Twitterverse exploded in speculation about Fourie’s sexuality.

Fourie himself responded to the furore with a memorable tweet.

Fourie and Lasizwe had stirred up a hornet’s nest on social media; enraging homophobes and sparking much-needed debates about sexuality and masculinity.

His early career accomplishment at network engineering roles at loading mobile film among them Ericcson, Huawei, Technologist, and Mobex Group. He could not resist his passion for arts and performance. As a result, he took cameo roles in projecting shows including Sokhulu and Partners, Harvest, Generation, and Isibaya and eventually joined Skeem Saam.

He played the guest turn roles as William on SABC1 Soapie Generation in 2012 and three years later he took part in Generation The Legacy as William The Hammer.

At the end of 2015, he took part in The Ring film produce by M-net Academy interns and vented on the 19 December within the same year. In 2016 he took a guest role as Chris Cele in Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya season three. He was lucky to take part in Sokhuku & Partners SABC1.

His career bloomed faster when he started the role of Lehasa at SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam. His first appearance on the show came to pass on the 08th December 2016. He also started as frank on e.tv drama series Harvest in September 2017.

Lehasa has showcased in several films, but his fans resolutely call him Lehasa from Skeem Saam mainly for his outstanding performance in the film.
