Cancer reappeared in January. Last month, he said that the only way to treat his fatal stage 4 cancer was with palliative care.
The expert surgeon in charge of my treatment team confirmed that my cancer is in its final stage and that I am only getting palliative care.
“This dream team” (as I now call them) will now coach me through how to have as much fun in the time I have left and fulfill as many desires, large and small, as I have on my bucket list. In August, he told his 84,000 Facebook fans, “Kari and our families start a new journey today.”
Mansfield’s longtime friend and co-host of Johannesburg radio station 947’s Breakfast Express Weekdays, told fans that Mansfield was resting comfortably and surrounded by family and friends.
