Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo has passed away. The 40-year-old musician who was married to the former queen of Gqom Babes Wodumo passed away on Saturday morning, December 24, after being hospitalized at King Edward last weekend due to a stroke.
He was initially transferred to Durdoc Hospital because of the seriousness of his health, according to the source who spoke to Daily Sun on Tuesday, December 13.
The news was confirmed to the Daily Sun by his former manager, Dogg Durban.

Mampintsha rose to stardom as a member of the Big Nuz trio, which also included R Mashesha, who passed away in 2015, and Danger. The remaining members recently regrouped and were getting ready to release an album.
