Former Orlando Pirates number one goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was involved in a one of the messiest love triangles of all time which brought all the drama and a fatal ending.
“Nzori” as he was affectionately known as was heavily married to his longtime sweetheart Mandisa Mkhize whom he wedded in a traditional wedding ceremony in 2013 and he had an affair with renowned songwriter and singer Kelly Khumalo and whom he started seeing on the side between 2012 and 2013.
This week, Zandile Khumalo-Gumede, Kelly’s sister, who is a testifying in a trial against the five men accused in the murder of the late opened up about the final moments of the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper who was shot at the Khumalo home in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg, on 26 October 2014.

On Friday evening, one of the leading publications in South Africa reported that Zandile Khumalo-Gumede during her testimony revealed that her sister Kelly Khumalo kissed the late footballer’s lifeless body on the forehead after he was pronounced deceased at the Botshelong Hospital.
In addition, it is further reported that Zandile Khumalo-Gumede also revealed that the Ngathwala Ngaye hitmaker took to the earrings and the wrist watch that he had.
