His family has had opportunity and energy to grieve the demise of Gqom craftsman Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo (40) who passed just before Christmas yet there are now embarrassments reemerging. After being treated for a mild stroke at Durdoc Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, the Ngeke singer passed away.
HIS INCONVENIENT PASSING
In a proclamation by the Simelane and Maphumulo family, Mampintsha died in the wake of having experienced a second stroke while going through treatment in the emergency clinic. ” He passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve morning. His beloved wife, son, parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews are all gone. The families express their appreciation for the time spent with him. For the gift of his life, the Maphumulo and Simelane families will always be grateful.

The statement continues, “We urge all those who loved him to celebrate this most remarkable man.” A woman by the name of Thato Baloyi has come forward to assert that she was in a relationship with Mampintsha. Thato has expressed her grief about her alleged boyfriend, Mampintsha, on social media. She wrote, “Rest in peace boyfriend” and “You left me” in a series of Instagram posts, and she also posted a video of Mampintsha saying, “Baby No, God why?”
They requested privacy to mourn their son after attempting to call the Maphumulo family for comment. I have no idea what to say. An uncle states, “I don’t want to entertain this.”
